Meet Lisa

Lisa Lazan is originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She attended college in Milwaukee, receiving her undergraduate degree from Marquette University. She went on to law school at Washington University in St. Louis, and received her J.D. degree in 1985. After graduation, Lisa moved to New York City where she practiced in the areas of insurance defense and coverage litigation. In late 1990 Lisa and her husband, tired of shoveling snow and scraping ice off the car windows, moved to sunny Vero Beach, where they have lived ever since. Lisa practiced in the area of Worker’s Compensation defense until 2010, when she “retired.” For six years Lisa worked steadily as a substitute teacher in Indian River County, and continued to represent family law clients. In 2017, Lisa returned to the practice of law full time, representing clients in divorce, child custody, modification of timesharing and child support, alimony, and relocation cases. Lisa is admitted to both the Florida and New York bars, and is a member in good standing.

In her spare time, Lisa enjoys riding her bike, going to the beach, and traveling to visit her four children.
